Our Wedding

Matthew and Anna first met in 2016 at Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, where Anna was a server and Matthew was a frequent customer (perhaps a little too frequent). Their casual conversations over cups of Italian ice eventually sparked something much sweeter. They officially began dating on November 21, 2016, and their relationship grew over many years—and many miles—apart. From attending different universities (UCF for Anna, USF for Matthew) to navigating long-distance so they could pursue their dreams, they supported each other through every challenge and milestone. In 2021, they moved in together—along with Anna’s sister Meg her beloved dog, Gigi. Their home was full of laughter, shared meals at Tres Amigos, and cozy evenings watching movies.Then in August 2023, Anna made the move to Washington, D.C., to join Matthew at his first duty station. On November 29, 2024, Matthew proposed at Shenandoah National Park, just as the sun was setting behind the mountains. Moments before, Anna had joked that it would’ve been the perfect place to get engaged—completely unaware of what was about to happen. She was shocked, emotional, and gave a joyful “yes.” Now, after years of growing together across cities and seasons of life, Matthew and Anna are ready for the next chapter. They're most excited for married life in a new city, exploring the world together, and making memories as a little family—with Gilmore always along for the ride.

Meg isn’t just the bride’s little sister—she’s her built-in best friend. From growing up together to navigating college life side by side, Meg has been a constant source of laughter, support, and late-night movie talks. Whether she’s showing off a new Funko Pop, picking out the perfect bandana for her dog Gigi, or joking about moving into the couple’s basement one day, Meg brings heart, humor, and a whole lot of love wherever she goes. Having been by the couple’s side through every chapter, there was never a question—Meg had to be right there on the big day.

Steve isn’t just the groom’s oldest brother, he has been his best friend and biggest supporter from the beginning. Growing up together, Steve was always there to crack a joke or a cold one no matter what life threw at them. As the groom’s older brother, his guidance and philosophic words of wisdom greatly influenced Matt’s life. Despite cross country moves, Steve has been there for it all and continues to support the couple as the Best Man.

Jordan and the bride may have lived next door to each other for a year, but it wasn’t until a spontaneous late-night movie marathon in 2019—thanks to a nudge from the groom—that their friendship truly began. Since then, Jordan has become one of Anna’s most grounding and genuine friends. From sipping Moscow mules to wandering Orlando’s coffee shops for study sessions and making Cup o Noodles runs to the Oviedo Mall, their memories are filled with warmth and laughter. Jordan is the kind of friend who listens without judgment, stays close despite the miles, and always makes space for another memory.

Kevin and the groom have been close friends for the past 20 years. Growing up only a few houses from each other, countless days were spent running around the neighborhood avoiding trouble as best as they could. Whether it’s good times or bad times, Kevin never fails to be there for the couple and will be supporting them as a groomsman.
